Garbage is picked up curbside every Tuesday and must be in the "City of Whittemore" blue or yellow garbage bags. These bags are available for sale at City Hall, Cenex Convenience Store and Supplies 'N More, which is located downtown. Other bags will not be accepted, but pick-up of larger items can be arranged by calling the Municipal Light Plant.
